An electrical connector housing of electrically insulating material for receiving and retaining an electrical tab receptacle and having slots, which receive edge portions of an electrical tab when mated with a receptacle in the housing, has integrally formed resilient membrane portions of the housing covering the slots which membrane portions are deflected by edge portions of a tab on insertion thereof into a receptacle in the housing.
