Abstract From the Canadian patent

of the Disclosure, A transducer for the measurement of a polyphase current independent of frequency has a laminated magnetic core consisting of two rings separated from one another by a gap. At this gap there are slots with a winding connected to the polyphase current system to be measured. Over the circumference of the yoke of the core there is wound a measuring winding which has no magnetic linkage with the polyphase winding. This measuring winding is supplied with measuring voltage of sufficiently high frequency for the variation in impedance in the measuring winding due to the variation in magnetic flux in the yoke to be measured.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted January 8, 1980. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended January 8, 1997.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
