Abstract From the Canadian patent

A flexible container for bulk matter is formed of a single folded piece of material with handling loops, the upper portions of which are formed by the fold-line and with at least four flaps extending from the side walls at the bottom of the container, said flaps being joined together in pairs at their lower edges so that the joints cross each other at one point.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted January 8, 1980. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended January 8, 1997.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
