A record player having single lever presetting control for manual and repeat operation. The record player has tonearm locking when a final repeat cycle has been terminated. A repeat designating lever and an operating member for operating the designating lever per repeat cycle while the operating, lever engages the repeat designating lever only for a given period of time.
