The invention provides an electronic watch having a circuit base plate covered by a cover integrally molded to the base plate by a transfer molding process. The cover provides a connector opening for connection to a liquid crystal display as well as protection for an integrated circuit mounted on the base plate. At the same time, openings are left in the covering through which solder connections to large electrical components such as quartz crystals and condensers may be made. Excellent insulation water-proofing and heat resistance are obtained.
