Abstract From the Canadian patent

This invention comprises a method and composition for treating nonporous surfaces to render them water repellent. The composition consists of a mixture of mineral acid and a solvent to which a polysiloxane of general formula:, is added R1 and R2 are alkyl aryl or hydrogen groups and n is an, integer greater than 1.
