Abstract of the Disclosure, Disclosed is a novel procedure for making solventbased polyurethane or polyurethane-polyurea compositions which makes it possible to avoid the production of compositions that are undesirably underpolymerized or over polymerized. Moreover, the invention shortens the over-all time required to produce the composition. In essence the, invention involves a reversal in the order of steps usually \, used for making compositions of this sort: after a desired quasi-prepolymer of polyisocyanate and polyol is formed a, relatively small amount of secondary amine is added. The main polymerization with polyols and/or polyamines and the like is then permitted to take place. …
