Abstract of the Disclosure A heat-curable lacquer containing a compound having glycidyl groups and a concentrated solution of an organic tetracarboxylic acid or the dianhydride thereof. The lacquer can be used for the manufacture of coatings on tin cans packages, glass bottles and tubes, and of coil coatings.
