The present invention relates to a videodisc containing stored information in the form of frequency modulated intelligence. Prior art videodiscs have been made using recording procedures which record video signals in an amplitude varying with time format. As a result, small inaccuracies in the recording process produce low quality signals when read by playback apparatus. Additionally, handling of the videodiscs of the prior art can easily destroy or adversely affect the quality of the reproduced signal.
