Abstract From the Canadian patent

A spring means for use in a plate-type valve comprises a generally planar spine and spaced apart on opposite sides thereof two planar side members. The side members are integrally formed with the spine and with a plurality of interconnecting planar bars. Resiliently flexible fingers extend from both the spine and the side members angularly with respect thereto and reach their maximum distance from the plane of the spine at different distances from the spine. The invention also embraces a plate-type valve incorporating such a spring means.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted January 1, 1980. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended January 1, 1997.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
