An improved resilient mounting means for mounting electrical connector housings in an aperture in a panel includes at least three beams extending outwardly from opposite sides of the housing, the beams being cantilever beams. The beams are interdigitated and each beam has a tapered portion extending rearwardly from its free end to an outwardly facing step. The steps of adjacent beams are aligned to define a channel extending transversely of the block for receiving an edge of an aperture in the panel when the housing is operatively mounted within the aperture.

Why it's free to use
- Granted December 18, 1979. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended December 18, 1996.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
