An induction heating apparatus comprises a pair of inversely series connected first and second gate-controlled switching devices and a pair of feedback diodes each being inversely parallel connected to the first and second switching devices, respectively. A high frequency resonant circuit is connected in series or parallel circuit relation with the gatecontrolled switching devices to a source of low frequency alternating voltage. A gating circuit triggers the first and second switching devices in the order named during a first half cycle of the alternating voltage and in a reversed order during the second half cycle of the alternating voltage.

Why it's free to use
- Granted December 11, 1979. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended December 11, 1996.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
