Piston structure for an internal combustion engine which includes a fuel injection system the piston including, an annular passage formed therein and having a restricted access opening communicating with said passage. The access opening is positioned to receive air as well as fuel and, to circulate products of combustion into the cylinder combustion chamber. -I-
