At least two fluids are each directed from a separate source to separate inlets of a mixer wherein the fluids are mixed. Prior to mixing, each fluid is stored in a separate accumulator under pressure. The pressure of the fluid in each accumulator is controlled so that there is a small pressure drop in the conduit between each accumulator and the mixer and so that the ratio of the flow rates by weight of the fluids at the inlets is substantially constant and so that the momenta of the fluids at the inlets are substantially equal.
