Abstract From the Canadian patent

A tire designed for operation both as a pneumatic tire under ordinary conditions, and also without inflation under emergency conditions, has thick sidewalls made of low-hysteresis high-modulus vulcanized natural rubber composition containing reinforcing carbon black and also containing an effective antioxidant, together with a cobalt soap to prevent reduction in modulus during service of the tire.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted August 21, 1979. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended August 21, 1996.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
