Abstract of the Disclosure Apparatus for measuring the radioactivity of the contents of a plurality of receptacles supported in a rotatable ring. A first group of a selected number of the receptacles is aligned,by the incremental rotation of the rotatable ring, above a like number of probes for receiving the receptacles and for measuring the radioactivity of the contents thereof. Upon this alignment the rota-, tional movement of the ring stops and the ring is vertically lowered a selected distance so that the selected number of receptacles are received in the probes.
