Compounds of the formula, wherein R is , or , wherein X is, hydrogen, chloro, fluoro alkyl of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxy of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or trifluoromethyl pro-, vided each R may be the same or different; R1 and R2 are hydrogen, alkyl of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms hydroxy lower, alkyl wherein the alkyl group has from 1 to 4 carbon atoms alkanoyl of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or X-substituted phenyl alkyl wherein X and alkyl have the same meaning as above and, the N-oxides and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof have been found to possess antiinflammatory activity.
