Abstract From the Canadian patent

A method for deforming molten slag by throwing onto the bubbling surface of the slag a moulding consisting of 17 - 72% by weight of organic material 20 - 80% by weight of refractory material and 3 - 15% by weight of a binder to dissipate the formed bubbles.
