There is provided a maintenance platform for a building roof which will permit the servicing of equipment skylights, and the like installed on the roof. The maintenance platform avoids the problems that result from frequent foot traffic and heavy concentrated loads on a roof i. e. damage to the roof panels, reduced expected roof life and possible voiding of roof warranty. The maintenance platform is for use on a building roof that is formed of a number of roof panels that are interconnected by seams.
