A process is disclosed for the preparation of a solid phase dispersion of inorganic photoconductive materials in an insulating polymeric matrix. A polymeric composition is formed from a film forming insulating polymeric resin and an organoselenium compound which is capable of undergoing selective decomposition in response to a source of energy stimulus. The polymeric composition so formed is subjected to the stimulus whereby elemental selenium is extruded and deposited within the polymeric composition in conformity with the distribution of the stimulus throughout the composition. The stimulus may be in the form of ultraviolet light, visible light or an electron beam or any other means which …

Why it's free to use
- Granted May 8, 1979. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended May 8, 1996.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
