The disclosure relates to a pipe of glass fibre reinforced thermosetting resin having an inner lining of wear resistant rubber material, and to a method of manufacturing the pipe. The inner wear lining formed by wear resistant rubber material comprises a looped fabric which is formed by glass fibre material and partially vulcanized into the outer side of the lining. The parts of the looped fabric protruding from the rubber material are impregnated with the resin and the loops of the looped fabric penetrate into the resin so as to constitute a reinforcing bond between the inner lining and the outer pipe layers formed by glass fibre reinforced plastic material.
