In an hydraulic braking system of the kind having gas-pressurised accumulators connected to an hydraulic circuit, the number of revolutions made by the brake fluid pump in order to increase the braking circuit pressure from a lower limit at which a regulating device connects the pump delivery to the circuit, and an upper limit at which the regulating device connects the pump delivery to a return line, is counted electronically in a control unit to provide a warning indication when the count falls below a predetermined stored number, indicating loss of braking capacity of the system.

Why it's free to use
- Granted April 10, 1979. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended April 10, 1996.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
