REGENERATION OF CRACKING CATALYST, (D#73,215-C2-F) ABSTRACT, A process for the regeneration of cokecontaminated fluidizable catalytic cracking catalyst wherein the regeneration flue gas having a reduced concentration of carbon monoxide and regenerated catalyst having a reduced residual carbon content are obtained. By this method a fluidized dense catalyst phase of cokecontaminated catalyst is regenerated with an excess amount of oxygen-containing regeneration gas at an elevated temperature such that there is a controlled afterburn of carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide in the dilute catalyst phase whereby a flue gas having a carbon monoxide content of from 0 to 500 ppm is obtained. The …

Why it's free to use
- Granted January 16, 1979. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended January 16, 1996.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
